You can find us at Durlabh, which is house number 4 in the Geet Gurjari Society. We are very close to the airport, so we hear the planes taking off and landing all day long. It’s something you just get used to after a week or so. Our office is basically part of a residential society, which gives it a very different feel than a corporate park. It’s a bit more relaxed here. We have a small team working out of this space. We do a lot of international-related tech work, but we do it from a very local setting. There are trees outside the window and you can hear the neighbors occasionally. Techman International isn’t some massive skyscraper operation. It’s just us in a comfortable room with good internet and enough desks for everyone. We often have lunch together or step outside for a bit of air when things get stressful. The office is full of random things we’ve collected over the years—old calendars, a few plants that someone forgot to water, and lots of technical books. We don’t really have a formal dress code; most of us just wear what’s comfortable. We focus on getting the tasks done without making it more complicated than it needs to be. It’s a quiet way to run a business, and being near the airport makes it easy for us to remember how big the world is.
