Sober Ceramics

Being out here near the Dariyalal Resorts on the 8-A National Highway means we see a lot of travelers passing by. Sober Ceramics is located at P.B.No. 304 and the highway noise never really stops. You hear the big trucks rumbling all day and night. It is a dusty stretch of road, especially when the wind picks up. We have been working with ceramics here for quite some time now. The showroom area is simple, just rows of tiles and pieces stacked up so people can see the colors. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. We mostly leave the doors open to get a breeze, even if it brings in the grit from the road. Sometimes folks staying at the resort wander over by mistake, looking for a shop or a snack, and we have to point them back the right way. Working near the highway makes it easy for the delivery trucks to find us, which is one good thing. The water in the cooler is always cold, which is a relief in the summer months. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. The stacks of boxes can get pretty high and you have to be careful walking between them. It is a plain, hard-working environment and we just get on with the day as it comes.
