Skri Medicines

Our shop, Skri Medicines, is located right there with the B T Savani Kidney Hospital. Being associated with a hospital like this means we see a lot of people who are going through some tough times. Most of our work involves filling prescriptions for patients who are either staying at the hospital or coming in for their regular checkups. It’s a busy environment and things can get a bit hectic when several people come out of the clinics at the same time. We try to keep our shelves stocked with the specific medications that the doctors at the Kidney Hospital usually ask for. It’s not a typical street-side chemist shop because our location is so specific to the hospital grounds. We spend a lot of time talking to family members who are trying to get everything their loved ones need. We’ve learned to work quickly because nobody wants to spend more time than necessary waiting for medicine. The space is practical and we focus on getting the orders right. It can be a long day sometimes, especially when the hospital is full, but we just keep at it. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. People find us because they need us right then and there. It's a serious job and we take it one customer at a time, making sure we have what they need for their treatment. We stay focused on the tasks at hand until the shift ends.
