Shreenathji Agri Export Llp is up on the sixth floor of Star Plaza. We’re in suite 603, right near Phulchhab Chowk in Rajkot. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always noise coming up from the street. We’ve been working out of this office for a good while now. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. Our days are filled with phone calls to farmers and buyers. We export a lot of the local produce that comes through Rajkot. The office is often full of the smell of spices or whatever we are testing that week. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people, not like some corporate office in a big city. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks and things look a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Rajkot is a great place for this business because of the markets nearby. We spend our time making sure the quality is okay and the trucks arrive on time. It’s a lot of manual tracking and following up. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just one that does its job without any fuss.
