Bharat Exim

We are up on the fourth floor of Samrudhibhavan at No. 97. Bharat Exim has been here for some time now on Gondal Road. The elevator in this building is a bit slow so a lot of us just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. By the time you get to the fourth floor you're usually a bit out of breath. The view from up here isn't much, just the tops of other buildings and the busy road below. Gondal Road is always packed with trucks and bikes. You can hear the horns even through the windows. Inside it’s mostly just desks and computers. We have a lot of shelves filled with samples and documents. The lighting is a bit bright but it helps when we have to read the fine print on contracts. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee. It’s a functional space. Nothing is too modern or polished. It looks like a place where people actually work. We have calendars on the walls and stacks of papers that need filing. Being at Bharat Exim means dealing with a lot of logistics every day. Samrudhibhavan is a known building so visitors don't get lost too often. We have a few plants near the entrance that we try to keep alive. Sometimes we forget to water them. It’s a typical office life here on the fourth floor. We keep things moving as best as we can. It is a long day but we like it.
