Abh Exim

We've been here at No. 27 for a while now. Getting up to the third floor keeps us moving, even if the stairs feel like a bit much by the afternoon. Abh Exim isn't a massive operation, just a few of us handling the export side of things. It’s usually pretty quiet until the phones start going off around mid-morning. We spend a lot of time double-checking lists and making sure the paperwork for the shipments actually matches what’s in the boxes. The office gets a bit cluttered with folders, and sometimes we lose the stapler under a pile of invoices. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We try to keep things organized, but on Mondays, that is easier said than done. Outside the window, you can see the street activity, though mostly we are focused on the computer screens. There is a tea stall not far away where we usually get our afternoon fix. It's a regular spot, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. We do not really do big meetings or fancy presentations here. It’s more about getting the orders sorted and out the door. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to wait it out. We have gotten used to the rhythm of this building over the years. Everyone knows each other on this floor. It is a decent place to work, even if the lighting could be better in the hallway. We just keep at it, day in and day out.
