Shivram Industries

I've been here at Shivram Industries for quite a while now. We are located at 17, Bhaktinagar Station Plot, which is usually a very busy area with a lot of noise from the trains and other workshops around us. My day usually starts early, opening the shutters and checking what needs to get done. The floor is always a bit dusty from the work we do, but that’s just how it is in this line of business. People come by asking for different parts or some repairs, and we just try to get it sorted for them. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and we take a ten-minute break. It’s not fancy here, just a lot of metal and machines. Bhaktinagar has changed over the years, more buildings and more traffic, but we are still in the same spot doing the same things. My desk is covered in papers and some old tools that I haven't moved in years. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. If you come looking for us, you’ll probably hear the machines before you see the sign. It’s hard work, especially when it gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep at it. Most of the guys who work here have been with us for a long time. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s just a regular place where we get the job done and go home.
