Sanjay Art Gallery Private Limited

Sanjay Art Gallery Private Limited is based in the Commercial Complex on Yagnik Road, right at the Rashtriya Shala Corner. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, it’s a mix of different paintings and frames hanging on the walls. We don't try to be one of those stiff, quiet galleries where you feel like you can't breathe. It’s a bit more relaxed than that. We enjoy having local artists bring their work in, and we spend a lot of time just chatting about what they’ve been working on. There is always a lot of bubble wrap and cardboard lying around because shipping art is a bit of a process. We do a lot of the framing ourselves in the back, so there is usually the smell of wood glue and glass cleaner. It’s not always perfectly neat, but it’s a working space. We don't have some big mission statement we tell everyone. We just like art and want to have a place where people can come and look at it without feeling pressured. Sometimes a frame doesn't fit or a customer isn't sure what they want, so we spend a lot of time helping them figure it out. It’s a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by color and creative people here on Yagnik Road. We might not be the fanciest place, but we are honest about what we do and we like being part of this corner.
