Akhand Urja

Akhand Urja is based at Plot No. A-24 in Aalap Green City, which is off Raiya Road. We are quite near the Hemu Gadhvi Hall. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the center of Rajkot. Our work involves energy and solar setups, so we have a lot of panels and equipment stored in the garage and the back rooms. The house is part office and part storage. We spend a lot of time out on sites, but this is where we plan everything out. There are maps and diagrams pinned to the walls. Raiya Road is growing fast, so there’s always something new being built nearby. We usually have a lot of people calling to ask about how the solar stuff works. We aren't a big corporation, just a local team that knows the area well. Most mornings we load up the truck with the tools and parts we need for the day. The tea guy comes by around eleven, and that’s when we take a break. Aalap Green City is a nice place to be located because it’s easy for people to find and there’s plenty of parking. We don't have a big fancy front desk, just a couple of chairs for visitors and a computer that’s seen better days. It’s a functional space for us to get our work done and keep things organized as best as we can. We try to be out of the office and back by five most evenings before the traffic gets bad.
