Siddhi Vinayak Complex is where we are, Plot No-102 to be exact. It’s right there on Doctor Yagnik Road, which is almost always busy with people and cars. If you look across from the Kalyan Jewelles, you’ll see our door. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a workspace filled with machines and the smell of ink. Most days we are just in the back getting things ready. The air conditioner is old and makes a rattling noise, especially when the afternoon heat kicks in. We have scraps of vinyl and leftover boards leaning against the walls. It gets quite messy when we have a big order to finish by the end of the day. People walk in with their ideas, and we just sit down and try to figure it out together. Sometimes we don't have all the answers right away. We’ve been here for a while and the neighborhood has changed, but we just keep doing what we do. There isn't a front desk person to greet you, you just come in and find one of us. We drink too much tea and talk about the cricket scores while the printers are running. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't go in for those big marketing speeches. We just work. The power goes out once in a while and we take a break then. It’s just how it is around here.
