Sai Raj Maths Academy

Sai Raj Maths Academy sits on University Road here in Rajkot. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always something going on outside. We opened this place because maths is one of those subjects that everyone struggles with at some point. It’s not a big fancy academy with glass walls. It’s just a few rooms where we sit down and work through problems together. We have stacks of paper and pens all over the place. The whiteboards are usually covered in equations by the end of the day. We don't do much advertising at all. Most people find us because they live nearby or their friends told them about us. It’s a practical setup. We have chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a two-hour session. The light in the rooms is bright so nobody gets sleepy during the afternoon sessions. We stay open late most nights because that's when students have time. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, especially before exams. We just pull in extra stools from the back. Being in the 360005 zip code means we are central to a lot of things. You can grab a snack nearby if you get hungry. We don't have a big staff. It's just a couple of us who know the subject well. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a local spot for learning. We like the rhythm of the school year. It keeps us going.
