This school is situated out in the Mahika area near Morbi. It is a bit of a drive for some people, but we have been operating here long enough that just about everyone in the district knows the way. We have these old-fashioned classrooms that seem to get a lot of bright sunlight in the early mornings. Even though the name says Genius, we are really just focused on helping the kids get through their yearly exams and making sure they understand the basic subjects. Our playground is actually quite large, but the grass never stays green for very long because of the intense heat we get here. Usually, you will find the teachers sitting together in the small staff room grading papers or drinking tea during their short breaks. We have a designated area where the children sit to eat their tiffins at noon. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, and we just have to open all the windows to catch a breeze. It is a very simple setup. We do not use much in the way of technology, mostly sticking to chalk and traditional blackboards. The students come in from all the nearby villages. They bring a lot of noise and energy to the hallways every morning when they arrive at 8 AM. We try our best to keep things orderly, but with so many kids, there is always some chaos and laughter echoing around the place.
