You’ll find Pujara School Of Cricket out by the Jetpur Somnath Haiway Ring Road. We’re actually part of the Dhaval Academy Sports Hostel setup. It’s a busy spot with the highway right there, but inside the gates, it’s all about the game. People in Jetpur and Rajkot take their cricket quite seriously, and we see that every day on the field. We have boys staying here at the hostel who have come from different parts of the state just to play. It’s not a fancy life. It’s a lot of early mornings, practicing in the heat, and cleaning up the gear. We spend most of our time out on the grass or in the nets. The coaches are usually busy shouting instructions or fixing someone's stance. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up off the ring road. We don't really do the whole corporate sports academy thing. It’s more about the hard work and the long hours. When the sun goes down, the hostel gets quiet because everyone is tired. We’ve got the basic facilities needed for training and staying over. It’s a practical place for people who just want to focus on their cricket skills. We like being tucked away here on the edge of town where there’s enough room to actually play. It feels like a real part of the local sports community in Rajkot.
