Rim Overseas

Rim Overseas is way up on the 8th floor of Star Plaza. We are at 803, right at Phulchhab Chowk. Being that high up means we get a decent view of the traffic down below, which is usually a mess. The lift in Star Plaza can be a bit slow, so we try not to forget anything when we come up in the morning. Our office is a mix of desks, computer screens, and piles of papers. It’s not a minimalist space. We have a lot of files to keep track of. It’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. Sometimes we can hear the wind whistling outside the windows. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. Phulchhab Chowk is a very busy intersection, so there is always a low hum of engines from below. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, maybe just a calendar or two. It’s a practical place to work. We spend our time looking at spreadsheets and coordinating with people far away. It’s different from the shops on the ground floor. It’s more secluded. We stay focused on the tasks and try to get through the pile of work before the day ends. Sometimes we stay a bit late when things get busy. It’s just the usual office life in a tall plaza building. Nothing too special.
