Rim Overseas

You can find us at Star Plaza, right in the middle of Phulchhab Chowk. We’re up in office 803, so the view of the city is actually pretty good from up here. Phulchhab Chowk is always busy, so getting in and out of the building can be a bit of a challenge during rush hour. Rim Overseas is basically just a small team of us working out of this one room. We do a lot of international stuff, so there are always clocks on the wall for different zones. The elevator in this building is a bit slow, so we often end up waiting in the lobby chatting with the neighbors. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, some cabinets for the files, and a small area for making coffee. We spend most of our time tracking shipments and talking to agents. It’s a lot of back-and-forth work. Sometimes the internet acts up, or a delivery gets stuck, and we have to spend the whole day fixing it. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the work we’ve done before. It’s a practical, everyday sort of job. We stay busy, we drink a lot of tea, and we try to keep the desk clutter to a minimum, though we usually fail at that last part. Most days we are just happy when the paperwork matches the boxes and everything goes out on time.
