Patel Medicine

Patel Medicine is located in Popatpara, right near the main road. It’s a pretty straightforward spot to find if you are in this part of town. The area around us is a mix of houses and other small shops. We open up early and the first thing we do is sweep the front and check the stock levels from the day before. The main road is busy, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background while we work. Our shop isn't very large, but we managed to fit in enough shelving to hold everything we need. We use simple plastic bins to keep the smaller items organized so they don't get lost on the shelves. There is a small back room where we keep the extra crates and the cleaning supplies. Most of our neighbors stop by at least once a week just to say hello or pick up something small. We know a lot of the families around here by name. It is a quiet kind of business for the most part, except for when the delivery van arrives and we have to move quickly to get everything inside. We don't have any fancy displays or bright signs. It’s just a place with medicine on the shelves and a counter where we stand. Running this shop keeps us busy and connected to the people living right here in Popatpara.
