Our place is on Kalawad Road in Rajkot, right near Shakti Ruda 2. It’s a pretty busy stretch of road, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. The building itself is nothing special to look at, but it serves its purpose for what we do here. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We get a lot of dust from the road, so there’s always a thin layer of it on the windowsills no matter how often we wipe them down. The fans run all day long to keep the air moving in the heat. We handle the inventory and the paperwork as it arrives. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit or anything formal. Most of us just come in comfortable clothes because it gets quite hot in this part of Gujarat. We’ve got a small kettle in the back for making coffee when the afternoon slump hits us. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other well enough to say hello. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance, and we have to go out and ask them to move, which is just part of the daily routine. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. It's honest work and we stay busy enough.
