Pacific Roller Industry

Pacific Roller Industry is located in the Silver Industrial Area over in Kothari. It’s mostly factories and workshops around here. We make rollers for different kinds of machines. It’s a lot of turning metal and making sure things are round and smooth. The shop floor is always covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few big lathes and some other machines that have been with us for a long time. It gets quite noisy, so we don't talk much while the machines are on. We just use hand signals mostly. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone in a suit. Most of us wear overalls that have seen better days. The Silver Industrial Area is a bit out of the way, but it works for us. We get our steel delivered once a week and then we just get to it. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch of rollers, and we usually order in some food from the stall down the road. It’s not a glamorous job. We just make parts that other people use in their machines. We’ve been in Kothari for a while and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a hardworking place. We don't have a mission statement or anything. We just make rollers and try to do it right. It’s just how we spend our days and we've gotten used to the grind.
