Balvant Soda

Balvant Soda is a small spot located just out of Verad Gate. It is not much more than a simple counter where people stop to get a quick drink while they are moving through the area. We have been here for a long time, and the setup has stayed pretty much the same over the years. The main sound here is the hiss of the soda machine and the clinking of glass bottles. We spend our days filling cups and mixing flavors for anyone who walks by. It gets really busy when the weather is hot, and people are looking for something cold to drink. There are no fancy chairs or tables, just a place to stand and have your soda before you head back out. We keep our supplies stacked in the back and try to make sure we never run out of ice. The location right by the gate means we see a lot of different people every day, from workers to travelers. It is a very straightforward business without any complications. We just serve the drinks and talk to the regulars who have been coming here for years. The floor is usually a bit wet from the ice melting, and the air smells like lemon and ginger. It is just a local soda shop doing what it has always done in this corner of the town. We do not need much else to keep things going.
