Omkar Fabric

We’re located on 7th Street in the Bavavalapara area of Jetpur, not too far from the Chora. Jetpur is known for its textiles, and we’re just one small part of that whole scene. Our building is a bit older, like many others around here, and there’s usually a bit of dust from the street and the fabrics we handle. It’s a busy place with rolls of material coming and going. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a reception area. Most of the space is taken up by the stock and the people working. We start our work early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Most of our neighbors are also in the same kind of business, so there's always the sound of machines or trucks loading up. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and have gotten to know the regular delivery drivers and other local workers. It’s a simple life focused on the fabric. We don't really have a big story to tell. We just buy and sell what we have and try to make sure the quality is okay for the people who buy from us. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a cart or a truck, and everything slows down for a bit. That’s just part of being in Bavavalapara. We don’t mind it much. It’s just how things go here in Jetpur. We stay busy with the orders we have.
