Our workshop is out in the Shubh Industrial Zone, covering plots 194 to 197. It’s quite a stretch of land near the Makhavad-Khambha Road in the Gondal area of Rajkot. If you know the Khambha village area, you know it gets pretty hot and dusty out here. Technocast involves a lot of heat and heavy machinery, so there’s always a hum in the air from the equipment. We spend most of our time out on the floor, checking the molds and making sure the metal is pouring right. It’s physical work and your hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. The commute out here can be long for some of the guys, but the space is necessary for the kind of casting we do. We aren't much for fancy offices; ours is just a small room where we keep the ledgers and grab a glass of water. Dealing with raw materials and industrial parts means we have to be practical. We’ve had machines break down at the worst times, but we just roll up our sleeves and fix them. Nidhi Technocast Llp is basically just a bunch of people who know how to work with their hands and get the job done. It’s noisy and busy, but that’s what an industrial zone is for. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have to get out each week.
