We’ve been here on Diwan Para Road for quite a while now. Mukita Handicraft isn't some big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just us, working with our hands every day. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have a lot of orders to get through. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. You can usually find us surrounded by tools and materials, trying to make things look right. It’s not always quiet here because there’s always something being hammered or cut. Diwan Para Road is a bit crowded sometimes, but we like it. We started this small because we just liked making things, and it grew into what it is today. We don't spend much time on computers or anything, we’d rather be out in the workshop. Sometimes the tea break is the best part of the afternoon when we sit around and talk. We do our work, pack it up, and send it out. It’s simple stuff really. Nothing too complicated about how we run things. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us unloading supplies or just cleaning up the floor at the end of the day. We don’t have any big slogans. We just show up on Monday and get to work until the weekend comes around. It’s a decent way to make a living and we’re glad to be part of the neighborhood here.
