Bhakti Foundry

Bhakti Foundry is situated on Gondal Road. We are right near the Saurashtra Solvant railway crossing. You can always hear the trains coming through and the gates going up and down. It creates a bit of a bottleneck for traffic, but we are used to the rhythm of it. We are right beside Eagle Polymers on Kothriya Road. Foundries are hot and messy by nature, so our place is full of sand, molds, and furnace heat. We spend our days pouring metal and cleaning up castings. It’s tough work and it’s certainly not for everyone. The 360004 area of Rajkot is very industrial. You can smell the factories in the air most days. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. Most of our space is taken up by the foundry floor and the piles of scrap metal waiting to be used. We start very early when it’s still cool outside. By midday, it gets very hot near the crucibles. We drink a lot of water and keep the heavy exhaust fans running to stay comfortable. The railway crossing is our main landmark. When someone is coming to visit, we just tell them to watch for the train tracks and they find us easily. We’ve been here for years, and the neighborhood hasn’t changed much except for more trucks on the road. We are just a local foundry doing our part. We don't have a marketing department. We just have our hands.
