Mohammedi Bottling

We’re over in Diwanpara, Wankaner, not too far from the Patiala Road. Mohammedi Bottling is basically a local operation we’ve been running for a bit now. The building is an old one, but it stays cool enough even when the Gujarat sun is beating down on the roof. We spend a lot of time cleaning bottles and checking the machines to make sure they are doing their job. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find things to talk about to pass the time. Sometimes the neighbors come by and we share a bit of news from the town while we work. Wankaner isn't a huge place, so everyone kind of knows where we are located. We don't have any fancy signs or big lights outside to attract attention. If you’re driving near Patiala Road, you might miss us if you’re not looking for the specific gate. We like it that way, just quiet and steady. The floor is usually wet because of the washing, so we have to be careful where we step throughout the day. Most of the people working here live just a few minutes away, so we walk or bike to work every morning. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here in Diwanpara. We don't really think about expanding or doing anything big, just keeping the bottling going day by day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble. We just do our work and go home.
