Overseas Engineers

Overseas Engineers is based out in Metoda, specifically at Plot No. G-1619-1620 in the Lodhika G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here from the city center, but this is where all the heavy lifting happens. The plots are numbered clearly, but it can still be a bit of a maze if you aren’t familiar with the estate. We’ve got a good amount of space here for our engineering work. The environment is very industrial, as you might expect. You hear the hum of equipment and the sound of tools all day long. We don’t have much time for small talk when there are technical problems to solve. Our team is pretty small, but we’ve been working together for quite a while now. The office part of the plot is basic. We have a couple of computers and a lot of technical drawings lying around on the desks. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the summer months, and the fans just move the warm air around. We deal with various engineering projects and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening. It’s not the kind of job where you leave exactly at five. We stay until the work is done and the quality is right. The industrial estate has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. We just try to do a solid job and keep everything running.
