Silicon Valley

We started Silicon Valley right here in Nutan Adivasi Society, specifically on Street No. 5 in Mavdi. It is a bit of a funny name for a small place in a residential neighborhood, but we like it. Most of our neighbors know us as the guys who are always tinkering with electronics. Our setup isn't anything like those big glass buildings you see in movies or in the city center. It’s a practical space where we handle local tech needs. We usually have a few machines opened up on the tables and some boxes of parts waiting to be sorted. Street No. 5 is usually pretty calm, which helps when we need to concentrate on a tricky software issue or a hardware swap. We don't have a big reception desk or people in suits walking around. It is just a workspace where we get things running again. People from around Mavdi stop by when their home computers start making weird noises or the internet stops working at their house. We have grown to know many of the families around here over the years. We just try to provide a reliable place for the community to bring their gadgets. It is a quiet life, but there is always something to fix. We are glad to be tucked away in this society instead of a loud main road. It feels more like a part of the neighborhood this way, which really suits us and how we work.
