Matru Medicines

Matru Medicines is situated at No 2 Prerna Complex on Amin Marg in Rajkot. The pin code is 360001. We are right opposite Payal Dairy and in the same area as the Dharti Bank Building. It is a good location because there is always something happening on Amin Marg. People come to the dairy or the bank and then they see our shop. The shop is inside Prerna Complex, which has a few other businesses too. I start the day by opening up the shutters and letting some air in. Rajkot can get really hot, so the fans are always on full speed. We have glass cabinets where we keep most of the stuff. It is a bit of a puzzle sometimes trying to find where everything is kept. We have lived in Rajkot for a long time, so we know most of the people who walk through the door. Some people come in just to ask for directions because of the bank and the dairy nearby. We do not mind. The shop is kept quite simple. We do not have a lot of posters or decorations. It is just about the medicine. I spend the afternoon doing inventory. It gets quiet for a couple of hours after lunch. That is when I catch up on the bookkeeping. It is a small business and we manage everything ourselves. Being at Matru Medicines on Amin Marg feels like being part of the local neighborhood life. We are just here every day.
