Maruti Machine Tool. is down on Dhebar Road South in the Atika Industrial Area. We are right across from the street that goes to Octroi and opposite the gas godown. It’s easy to find because of those landmarks. The area is always full of trucks loading and unloading. Our shop has been here for a long time. It’s a practical space with high ceilings and lots of metal parts everywhere. We don't have air conditioning, so we just leave the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes by. There is usually a layer of dust on everything, but that’s just life in an industrial zone. We aren't the type of people to use big business jargon. We just talk plain English and tell you what we can do. Most of our days are spent checking machines or talking to suppliers on the phone. It gets noisy when the neighbors are running their saws, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy board of directors. It’s just the owner and a few workers making sure things get done right. We like it this way. It’s simple and there are no surprises. You come in, you see what we have, and we go from there. If you need something specific, you might have to wait while we dig through the bins in the back, but we usually find it eventually. It’s a busy life here.
