Macpower Industries

Out at number 5 in the Umakant Udyognagar, which is part of the Mavdi Plot area, that’s where we do our work for Macpower Industries. This whole area is pretty industrial, so there’s always the sound of engines and machinery in the background. We have a decent-sized space where we put together our products and manage the daily tasks. It’s a practical environment, meant for working rather than looking good for visitors. We have some heavy machinery of our own that we use every day, and the floor usually has a few scuffs and oil spots. We aren't a big corporate office with people in suits; we’re mostly in work clothes, dealing with hardware and technical problems. The Mavdi Plot area is a good spot for us because everyone around is doing similar things, so if we need a specific bolt or a bit of help, there's usually a neighbor who can provide it. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the city. There is a lot of paperwork to keep track of, but we prefer the hands-on side of things. We’ve been here long enough that the commute feels like second nature now. It’s just a steady, hardworking place where we try to do a good job on every piece that leaves the door without making a big deal about it.
