Kotak Exim

Our office is located over at Kotak Gas Service on Kishanpara Main Road. It’s one of those places that people just know because of the gas agency being so prominent there. We’ve been operating from this specific spot for quite some time now. The room we use isn’t very big, but it comfortably fits our desks and the computer we use for everything. There’s a window that looks out onto the side alley, which is usually a lot quieter than the main road. We keep our supplies stacked in the corner behind the door. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and things get a bit chaotic in the hallway, but we manage to get through it. The floor is made of gray stone and it’s actually very easy to clean, which is good because people are always walking in and out with muddy shoes during the rains. We don’t have a big reception area or a fancy waiting room or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight back to find us sitting there. It’s a very straightforward and honest way of working. The tea from the shop next door is actually pretty decent, so we end up drinking a lot of it throughout the long day. We don't spend any money on fancy signs or expensive marketing stuff. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized with our records. It’s a bit of a plain environment, but it feels right for us. The air gets heavy before the monsoon hits, and we usually have to move the files away from the window just in case of leaks. It’s just a regular, day-to-day business life here. We like it this way.
