Kathiyawar Agricultural Producer Company Limited is tucked away in Vijayanagar village. You have to go through the Rajkot area to get to us. We operate out of Nareshbhai Savdeshbhai Rangani’s place. It’s a very local setup. In Vijayanagar, everyone knows each other, so we don't need a big office building. We just use the space we have to coordinate between all the farmers in the group. The work involves a lot of talking and a lot of planning for the next season. Rajkot can get very busy, but out here in the village, things move at their own speed. We deal with whatever crops the season brings. Some years are better than others, and we all feel that. There’s no hiding the reality of farming when you live right in the middle of it. Nareshbhai keeps the books and makes sure everyone is on the same page. It’s a simple life. We spend our mornings in the fields and our afternoons discussing how to handle the harvest. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. We just sit together and figure things out. Sometimes we have to drive into Rajkot for supplies or to meet people, but we’re always glad to get back to the village. It’s a group effort, and we all put in the work to keep the company going. It’s just how things are done here in our part of the world. We are just practical people doing what needs to be done.
