Jalaram Chemist

If you find yourself at the 9, Gopalanagar Corner, you will see Jalaram Chemist. We are quite close to Dr. P.P. Rajani’s clinic, so we get many people coming over right after their check-ups. Gopalnagar is a nice area, and we’ve gotten to know most of the families living in Dholria Nagar 5 and the other nearby streets. Our shop is just a small local spot where we keep a bit of everything, from baby formula to heart medications. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shutters, sweep the floor, and start our day. The shelves are getting a bit old now, but they hold everything just fine. Sometimes it gets a little hot in here during the afternoon, but we have a good ceiling fan that keeps things moving. We try to be helpful when people are worried about their health, though we aren't doctors ourselves. We just provide the medicine they were told to get. It’s a steady routine of counting pills and writing out receipts. We like the pace of life here in this part of Rajkot. It isn't too fast, and people still take the time to say hello when they walk past the corner. It's just a simple shop run by local people for the local community. We don't ask for much else than that. It keeps us busy and happy enough.
