Indus Collections

Being over here at Jamuna Apartment, right on College Wadi Street No. 2, makes our daily life at Indus Collections feel very local. We are quite close to the Gymkhana, so you can often hear the noise from over there when there is a match or an event going on. The street itself is usually full of students and people walking to the nearby shops. Our space inside the apartment building isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. We spend a lot of time sorting through things and folding stuff. It feels more like a home-based setup than a big warehouse. Usually, the hallway smells like whatever someone is cooking for lunch. We know most of the people who live in the building and the shopkeepers on Street No. 2. It’s a nice vibe. We keep the windows open when the weather is good, though the dust can be a bit of a problem. Working at Indus Collections means being part of the neighborhood rhythm. We start work when the milkman comes by and usually wind down as the streetlights flicker on. It’s a lot of looking at fabrics and checking colors under the light. We don’t have a big reception area or fancy chairs. Just some tables and shelves. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when a new load of stuff arrives, but we know where everything is. It’s just how we operate here near the Gymkhana. It is a simple way to spend our working hours.
