Paradise Time Industries

Paradise Time Industries is based in the Atika Estate on Dhebar Road. This part of town is full of small workshops and factories, so there is always the sound of metal and machines. We are one of many businesses in this estate. Inside our space, it’s a bit quieter than the street outside. We work with small parts and clocks, so you need a bit of a steady hand and some patience. The lighting isn't always the best, so we use extra lamps on the benches. Dhebar Road is usually packed with trucks and rickshaws, so getting here in the morning can take a while. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we would rather spend our time getting the work done. There are a handful of us here, and we mostly just get on with it. We have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The shelves are full of old tools and boxes of components. We don't really have a front desk; you just walk in and someone will be there at a bench. It feels like a proper workshop should. We keep the doors open to let the air move through while we work on the gears and faces.
