H.K. Machine Tools

Our shop is at number 2 in the Bhaktinagar Station Plot area. It is a busy part of town with a lot of workshops nearby. You can always hear the sound of metal hitting metal if you walk around here. We spend our days surrounded by tools and machine parts. There is always a smell of oil and grease in the air, which I suppose you get used to after a week or two. Our space is crowded because we keep so much stock on the floor. It is hard to find a place to sit sometimes. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. Most of our customers are from the local factories who need something fixed or a specific tool in a hurry. We don't do any big advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or because they were passing by the station. The summers here get really hot, and the tin roof doesn't help much, but we keep the big fan running all day. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. By the evening, we are usually pretty tired and covered in dust. We close up and go home once the streetlights come on. It is just a regular machine tool shop, nothing more and nothing less. We just try to keep things moving and help out whoever stops by the door with a problem to solve.
