We are set up right near the Dhansan Railway Station, just a short walk from Limda Chowk. It’s a busy spot because of the trains coming and going all day long. You can hear the loud whistles and the rumbling of the tracks from inside our building. We deal with different chemicals and supplies here. Most of our days are spent checking containers and making sure everything is stored exactly where it should be. It’s a bit of a rough area with all the dust from the station and the trucks, but it’s practical for moving goods in and out. We don’t have a fancy front office. It’s mostly just a warehouse space with a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger. The floor is concrete and usually has a few scuffs from the heavy barrels we move around. We work hard, usually starting before the first passenger train arrives in the early morning. Sometimes it gets a bit lonely out here near the station, so we talk to the tea sellers and the workers on the platform during our breaks. We’ve been at this location for a long time now and we know the schedule of the trains by heart. It’s not the cleanest work, and our clothes often get stained by the day's end, but it’s what we do. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready.
