Gujarat Chemical

We are out at Ruda Transport Nagar, right behind Himalaya Logistics in Navagam. It is a real industrial spot with trucks coming and going at all hours. You can hear the engines idling and the horns honking from our front door. Gujarat Chemical has been operating here for years. The building is a sturdy one, which is good because the wind picks up a lot of dust in this part of Navagam. Inside, things are kept fairly orderly, though there’s always a bit of a chemical scent in the air. It’s not a place for fancy clothes; we all wear our work gear and stay busy. We have a small area for the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back where the tanks and drums are kept. The floors are stained from years of work, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We get our water from the local supply and share the alleyway with the logistics company. Sometimes their trucks block our gate for a few minutes, but we just wait it out and chat with the drivers. It’s a tight-knit community here in the transport nagar. We don't have a website with flashy photos. We just do our mixing and shipping and make sure the labels are on straight. It is a long day's work, but we are used to the rhythm of the place. We usually close up around six and head home to our families.
