We’ve been at Mavdi Plot for a while now. It's just a small spot at 4 Swashray Soc. People ask what we do, and mostly it's just moving stuff around for export. It gets busy in the mornings. Sometimes the trucks have trouble finding the plot because the streets are narrow. We just try to keep things moving. My cousin helps out with the paperwork. It’s not a fancy office. We have a couple of desks and a lot of boxes usually. It’s been our base for years. We know the neighbors pretty well. There's a tea stall nearby where we go when things get too quiet. It’s just how it is here. We deal with different items, whatever needs to go out. It's mostly just about getting the crates packed right and making sure the labels don't peel off in the heat. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's a living. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address. People who need us usually know where to find us. We've seen the area change over the years. More houses now. It used to be quieter. But we’re still here, doing the same thing every day. Number 4 Swashray Soc isn't a big building, just a regular place. We have a small storage area in the back. Sometimes the packages pile up and we have to move things around.
