Dodiya Engineering Works

We are located at 2- Patelnagar, right on the 80 Feet Road. You can't miss the sound of the machines if you are walking nearby. Dodiya Engineering Works is basically a big workshop filled with lathes, drills, and bits of metal scattered around. The 80 Feet Road is a main artery, so there is always a flow of vehicles passing by, which brings in a lot of local business. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, which is just part of the job when you are fixing things. We mostly handle small engineering repairs and custom parts for people in the area. It is a noisy place to work, and we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the sound of the grinders. We don't have an office staff; it is just us working on the machines and handling the customers at the same time. We have a small bench where people can sit while they wait for a quick fix. The air smells like hot metal and machine oil. It is hard work and our hands are rarely clean, but there is something satisfying about fixing a part that someone thought was broken for good. We have been in Patelnagar for years, and most of the people around here know they can just drop in if they have a problem with a machine or a tool.
