Shreenathji Engineering Works

Our workshop is located right on Vavdi Main Road, just across from the Punit Nagar water tank. It’s pretty easy to spot because of the big tank nearby. Shreenathji Engineering Works is basically a place where we get our hands dirty every day. There is always the sound of machines running and people shouting over the noise. We’ve been in this part of Vavdi for quite some time now. It’s a dusty area, especially with the trucks going by, but it’s where all the work happens. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone wearing a tie. Most of us are in work clothes because that's what the job needs. We have some heavy tools and benches set up for the different projects we take on. If you come by, you’ll probably see us moving stuff around to make space for the next job. Near Sahaj Orni is where we usually tell people to turn. It’s a practical space, nothing more and nothing less. We don’t spend much time on the computer or writing long emails. We’d rather be out on the floor actually making things. The rain sometimes gets in through the door when it’s heavy, but we just mop it up and keep going. It’s a local shop run by local people who know the area well. We just try to get the engineering bits right without making a fuss about it.
