Our place is over at 6, Bhaktinagar Station Plot. It’s a decent area for what we do, mostly handling tools and equipment that people need for their construction or workshop projects. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of people; it is just a small team of us who know the inventory inside and out. The building is older, but it stays cool enough in the summer if we keep the fans going. Usually, the morning starts with checking the stock and seeing what went out the day before. We get a lot of locals coming in who just need a specific bit or a blade, and we try to help them find what fits. Being near the station plot means there is always noise from the trains and the traffic, but you get used to it after a week or two. We do not spend money on glossy brochures or big signs. Most people find us because they have been coming here for years or someone told them we had what they needed. It is practical work. Sometimes the floors are a mess with crates and packing material, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We focus on the hardware and making sure the orders are correct before they leave the door. It is not a complicated life, just honest work with tools that people actually use every day. There is always something to count or move around here.
