Diamond Industries

Diamond Industries is located on Street No. 5 in the Chhaniara Estate area, which is part of Dhebar Road South. Even though the name sounds like we deal in jewelry, we are actually an industrial workshop. It’s a tough environment with the sound of metal cutting and machines humming all day long. The estate is always busy with trucks and workers moving parts around. Our shop is just like the others on this street, filled with grease, tools, and metal shavings on the concrete floor. We’ve been operating here for a good amount of time and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. We don't have a fancy front office or anyone to answer the phones with a script. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and picks up the phone when it rings. We make various industrial components and sometimes the work is quite dirty. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit if you want to stay clean. The sun hits the front of the workshop in the afternoon and it gets pretty warm inside, but we just keep the doors open for a breeze. We focus on the work at hand and don't spend much time on anything else. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in a very industrial part of town, and we just keep at it day after day.
