Design Portfolio

Design Portfolio is run out of No. 113 in the Mansatirth Apartment, which is in Bhakti Nagar. It’s more of a residential-style setup, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than being in a standard office building downtown. We do design work, mostly just sitting at our desks and trying to come up with new ideas. The apartment has been our home base for a while now. We’ve got books and samples of different fabrics and materials piled up on the tables. It gets a bit crowded when we have more than a couple of people in here at once, but we make it work. Bhakti Nagar is a nice enough neighborhood, and we like that we can walk to get a good lunch at the local spots nearby. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who have a knack for design and like to work together. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with fancy industry jargon. We just look at what needs to be done and try to make it look decent for the client. Sometimes we get stuck on a project and have to go for a walk around the block to clear our heads. That’s just part of the creative process, I guess. We take on all sorts of local jobs. We don't have a big sign outside, just our name on the door. People usually find us through friends or neighbors. It’s a quiet, small-scale operation.
