You have to head into the Shivam Industrial Area to find us, tucked behind Harsidhi Society. We are at B/4 near the Harsoda Foundry on the Gondal Road By-Pass. It’s a bit of an industrial neighborhood, so there is always the sound of trucks and machines going in the background. We make all sorts of bags here. Mostly it’s just the sound of sewing machines and the smell of heavy fabric and zippers. The space is filled with rolls of material and big tables where we do the cutting. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big side door open to catch whatever breeze comes off the bypass. It isn't a showroom or anything like that; it’s more of a workspace where things actually get built. There’s a lot of thread on the floor by the end of the day. We usually have a big jug of water in the corner for everyone. My brother handles most of the heavy lifting when the raw materials arrive on the trucks. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the neighbors at the foundry are good people who sometimes borrow a tool or two. It’s just a practical place. We focus on getting the bags finished and packed into the crates for delivery. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to move everything out of the way just yet.
