Our place is over at Ravapar Road, specifically at Shriji Plot No. 4 in the Manek Society. If you know the area, it’s right opposite Mahavir Society, which is a pretty busy spot. We deal with granite and tiles, so there is always a bit of dust flying around the office. It’s not a polished showroom like you see in the big cities, but it gets the job done for us. We spend a lot of time moving heavy slabs and checking for cracks. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay past dark to get everything unloaded. The office is small and usually has a few samples leaning against the walls. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. People stop by to ask about prices or just to see what kind of stone we have in stock that week. We don’t do fancy advertisements; word of mouth is usually enough for people to find us here. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the sun is out and the heat starts reflecting off the stone. We just keep going, day after day, making sure the orders are packed right and the local builders get what they need. It’s a noisy neighborhood with all the traffic, but we like being right in the middle of things where the action is.
