Mahavir Imitation

Mahavir Imitation is located in the Panjra Pole Building on Bhavnagar Road. We are right across from Sant Kabir Road, which is a very busy spot for traffic. The noise from the street is constant and it gets quite dusty inside because the windows do not close all the way. We deal with imitation jewelry and all kinds of small shiny things. The shop is filled with hundreds of little plastic boxes stacked on top of each other on the shelves. My cousin and I run the place most days. We open up at ten and start by dusting everything. It is a lot of work to keep all the small items organized. The building itself is pretty old and the walls have some cracks in them, but it is a good location for us to be in. We do not have a fancy showroom here. It is just a counter and some metal shelves. People come in looking for things they saw in movies or at weddings. We try to keep a variety of stuff. Sometimes the light bulbs flicker and we have to give them a little tap to keep them going. We do not have a website or a computer in the shop. Everything we do is written down in a big notebook. It is a simple way of doing things. We stay until about eight in the evening.
