Bhagyalaxmi Machine Tools

Our place, Bhagyalaxmi Machine Tools, is over at Parmeshwan No. 5/6. We are right on the corner, just opposite Jasant Casting in Rajkot. If you know this part of Gujarat, you know it’s all about the industry. The air around here always smells like burnt metal and heavy engine oil. Our shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with shavings and spare parts everywhere. We don’t really bother cleaning it up until the end of the week because it just gets dirty again in five minutes. It’s a loud place to work. You have to shout sometimes just to be heard over the lathes and the grinding. We’ve got a small area in the back where we keep the paperwork, but even that is covered in a layer of dust most of the time. We aren't a corporate office with suits and ties. We wear work shirts that have seen better days and we usually have grease under our fingernails. It’s honest work, though. We spend our time fixing machines or helping people find the right tool for their own shops. Rajkot is a tough town for business, but we’ve managed to stay right here on our corner for quite a while. We just take each day as it comes, deal with the breakdowns, and try to keep things moving without making it complicated. Most of the time, the tea man knows exactly when we need him and shows up right when the machines stop for a break.
