Amit Medicines

Amit Medicines is on the ground floor of the Business Terminal building. We are right opposite the Ram Krishna Ashram, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. The location is pretty convenient for people passing through. We are not a big operation. It is just a simple shop-like space with a lot of shelves and a small counter where we handle the transactions. The lighting is a bit bright and clinical, but it helps us see the small print on the labels. We do not have any comfortable sofas or anything like that. There are just a couple of stools for us to sit on when things are slow. Most of the time, we are busy organizing the stock or talking to people who come in looking for something specific. We do not use any fancy software; we still write a lot of things down in our registers. It feels more reliable that way. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking to the Ashram, so we hear a lot of bells and honking throughout the day. We keep a small idol and some flowers near the cash box, and we light an agarbatti every morning to start the day right. We are not trying to be the biggest place in town. We just want to be the place where people can come and get what they need without any hassle or long waits.
