Amidhara Chemist

Running Amidhara Chemist at the Amidhara Complex on Canal Main Road is a full-time job for us. We are right across from Ravi Chamber, which is a big landmark around here. The Canal Road is always packed with traffic, so we see a lot of people stopping by while they are stuck in the jam or on their way home. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place with shelves full of medicines and health stuff. We open up pretty early in the morning and stay late into the night. My brother and I take turns behind the counter so someone is always there. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us since we first opened. They usually want to chat for a bit while we look for their tablets. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late, and we have to sort through piles of boxes in the middle of the floor. It can get a bit chaotic, but we manage. We don't use any big computers for everything, a lot of it is still done by looking at the labels and knowing our stock by heart. It’s a practical way to run a business in Rajkot. We just want to make sure the people in this neighborhood have a reliable place to get their prescriptions filled without any trouble. It’s hard work, but we are used to it by now. We just do our best every day.
