Amafhha International

We are sitting right here in Shop No. 61 at Para Bazaar, which is tucked just behind the main cloth market. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with people carrying big bundles of fabric on their shoulders all day long. It’s noisy and dusty, but that is just how things are around here. Amafhha International has been in this spot for a good while now. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just some sturdy shelves and a desk that has seen better days. We spend most of our time sorting through orders and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the middle of the afternoon, so we just sit out front for a bit until it comes back on. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors or watch the rickshaws squeeze through the narrow lanes. We don’t have a big team or a fancy lobby. It is just a few of us doing the work that needs doing. Usually, the morning starts with a quick sweep of the floor and a cup of tea from the stall around the corner. By the time the cloth market gets into full swing, we are already busy with our own stuff. It is a simple way of working, but it keeps us going. We just try to get the jobs finished without too much fuss or delay. That is pretty much our daily life here.
